Cronic Constipation

Were you looking for information about Constipation? Cronic constipation is a common misspelling and variation of constipation.

Constipation can cause difficult and painful bowel movements of dry, hard stool. The most common causes of constipation are poor diet and a lack of exercise. Most people can relieve constipation and prevent its recurrence by taking simple steps such as drinking plenty of fluids; eating a well-balanced, high-fiber diet; not ignoring the urge to have a bowel movement; and setting aside time after breakfast or dinner for undisturbed visits to the toilet.

A healthcare provider may only need to get a person's medical history and do a physical examination before suggesting treatment.

Many people believe they are constipated when they are not. It is important to keep in mind that normal bowel movements vary from person to person. Most people with mild constipation do not need laxatives. However, doctors may recommend laxatives for a limited time for people with chronic constipation.
